Vineyard, of Argonia, Kansas, died Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at the Harper Hospital in Harper, Kansas at the age of 90. Nina was born the daughter of Sheridan and Hattie F. (Walker) Wise on Saturday, June 20, 1925 in Aurora, Missouri. On September 10, 1946, Nina and Charles Vineyard were united in marriage in Hiawatha, Kansas. Together they celebrated 39 years of marriage before his death. Survivors include her son, Wayne Vineyard and his wife Kim of Wichita, Kansas; son, Russell Vineyard of Washington D.C; grandchildren: Wayne Vineyard, Jr. and his wife Sarah of Argonia, Kansas, Brian Vineyard of Ellsworth, Kansas and Amanda Hernandez of Wichita, Kansas; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Harley Vineyard; seven sisters and five brothers. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, August 28, 2015 with the family present from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services for Nina will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, August 29th, 2015, in the chapel of Cornejo Day Funeral Home & Crematory, Wellington, Kansas. Interment will follow at the Milan Cemetery near Milan, Kansas. on August 26, 2015.2

Rebecca Jean "Becky" Horton Rebecca “Becky” Vineyard, 61, of Monett went to be with her Lord in Heaven on Saturday October 8, 2016 at her home in Monett. She was born on January 13, 1955, the daughter of the late Junior and Shirley (Long) Horton. She was united in marriage on July 9, 1972 in Monett to Daniel Vineyard; he preceded her in death on April 24, 2003. She was a member of the Chapel of Grace Church in Monett and employed by Oxford Health Care. Becky is survived by one son, Daniel Vineyard Jr. and his wife Ashlee of Monett; one daughter, Brandi Blom and her husband, Jeremy, of Kirbyville, Mo; one sister, Sharon Ridenour of Monett; one uncle, Bill Long; one aunt, Phyllis Burton; and 6 grandchildren, Austin, Morgan, Alaina, Trenton, Andelynn, and Brinlee; special friend, Melvin Morris; and several honorary children and grandchildren. Visitation, for Becky, is being held on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 from 6pm-8pm at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett. He was stationed in Hawaii, San Diego and Bremerton, Wash. He later served as a state correctional officer at Lansing from 1980 to 1995. He married Rollane Eidem. They were divorced. He later married Brenda Elaine Smith Kimberlin on May 30, 1987, at Valley Falls. She survives. Other survivors include two sons, Terry Vineyard, Port Orchard, Wash., and James Lee Vineyard Jr., Meridian, Idaho; a stepson, Ryan Kimberlin, Valley Falls; a daughter, Kathleen Vineyard, San Diego; two brothers, Edward Vineyard, Atchison, and Robert Andrews, DeKalb, Mo; a sister, Delores Ellis, Atchison; and a grandson. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Valley Falls United Methodist Church.
