     Dennis Edward Mayden Dennis Edward Mayden, 62, of Junction City, Kansas, died November 27, 2009, at Geary Community Hospital. Dennis was born February 19, 1947, in Junction City, Kansas, to Edward and Mabel (Petersen) Mayden. He graduated from Junction City High School in 1965, and continued his education at Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS. He married Rita Josephine Brundige on May 26, 1973 at Faith Lutheran Church in Junction City. Dennis worked at Kaw Furniture for many years before opening his own furniture business in 1995. From there, he worked at Showcase Furniture until his retirement. Dennis enjoyed spending his time with his family, working on vintage cars, and playing poker. He was a member of the Junction City Elks Lodge. Dennis is survived by his wife, Rita Mayden of Junction City; daughters, Irma Black-Plus of Topeka; Misty Mayden-Miles of Manhattan, and Jennifer Cherico of Junction City; sons-in-law, Dr. Brett Miles of Manhattan and Jason Cherico of Grandview Plaza; granddaughters Noel Williams, Lisa Roberson, and Michelle Black; great-granddaughter Demajaé Williams; sister and brother-in-law Deanna and Doug Wolnik; grandsons-in-law Quinton Williams and Jerome Roberson; and several brothers and sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Lawrence and Mabel Elisabeth (Petersen) Mayden and great-granddaughter Shanyia Stinger. There will be an informal gathering of family and friends at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, 203 N.      Terry Patrick Morrand Sr. was buried at Saint Patrick's Cemetery, Ogden, Riley Co., Kansas.¹ He was born on October 7, 1943 at Riley, Riley Co., Kansas.^2,1 He married Karen Lea Eason circa 1974 at Kansas.³ Terry Patrick Morrand Sr. died on November 15, 2003 at Ogden, Riley Co., Kansas, at age 60.^2,1

     Karen Lea Eason was born on July 9, 1958 at Nueces Co., Texas.¹ As of circa 1974,her married name was Morrand.² She married Terry Patrick Morrand Sr., son of Patrick Paul Joseph Morrand and Loretta Mayden, circa 1974 at Kansas.² Karen Lea Eason died on May 23, 1995 at Texas at age 36.²
