     Albert Dean "Sonny" Young was buried at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 5737 Airport Road NW, Roanoke, Virginia.⁴ His Social Security Number was 223-38-5878.⁵ He was born on June 19, 1938 at Roanoke, Virginia.^1,2,5 He married Constance Anne "Connie" Black, daughter of Horace Earl Black and Edna Margaret King, on March 22, 1965 at Roanoke, Virginia.¹ Albert Dean "Sonny" Young died on July 24, 1999 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 61.^5,3,4 He YOUNG, Albert Dean, ("Sonny"), 61, of Roanoke, passed away Saturday, July 24, 1999. He is survived by his wife, Connie B. Young; daughters and sons-in-law, Robin and Mark Webb of Roanoke, Deana and A Lucktong of Pittsburg, Penn; three grandchildren, Kate, Kelsey, and Nolan Webb, all of Roanoke; brother and sister-in-law, Robert H. and Joyce Young; sister-in-law Lois A. Young; father-in-law Horace E. Black of Roanoke; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Cameron E. and Judy Black of Thaxton; sister-in-law, Anita Hengeli, and brother-in-law, Noel Hensley, both of Roanoke; also surviving are several nephews and their families. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Raymond and Ammie Young, and a brother, Donald R. Young. He served eight years in the US Air Force, and was an employee of Fred Whitaker Company for 33 years. Services will be held at Oakey's South Chapel 1 p.m. Monday, with the Rev. William Logan officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at Oakey's South Chapel. on July 26, 1999.⁴

He is survived by his son, John Charles (Chuck) Lane of Tucker. Mr. Lane was born in Chicago and raised in Illinois. He graduated from St. Joseph High School in May 1960 and served in U.S. Army Security Agency from 1963 to 1966. He graduated from the University of Illinois with a BA in Finance in 1970 and MS in Finance in 1974. He worked in the credit bureau, banking, teaching, accounting and real estate until 1982, when he moved to Atlanta at the invitation of Earl McClure. He worked in Atlanta in corporate accounting, teaching, and state accounting/data processing to the present. A Memorial service will be Friday, February 13, 2004 at 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Decatur, 308 Clairmont Avenue, Decatur. National Cremation Society. on February 12, 2004.²

     James Dayton "J.D." Lane was buried at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 14200 Interstate 27, Amarillo, Randall Co., Texas.^2,4 He was born on June 13, 1924 at Kerrville, Kerr Co., Texas.^2,4,3 He married Edna Jean Lankford, daughter of Marvin L. Lankford and Valeria Beatrice "Lera" Cole, on February 10, 1942 at Duke, Jackson Co., Oklahoma.¹ James Dayton "J.D." Lane died on November 11, 2007 at Amarillo, Potter Co., Texas, at age 83.^2,4 He James Dayton "J.D." Lane, 83, of Amarillo died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2007. Graveside services with military honors will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Memory Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. Robert E. Field officiating. Memorial services will be at 6 p.m. Friday in Citychurch with Don E. Lane officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mr. Lane was born in Kerrville. He and his wife, Jean, moved to Amarillo, where they raised their five children. He was lovingly referred to as "Pa," and in the same sense he gave his loved ones nicknames as well. Mr. Lane is remembered by his family as a constant source of strength. Always dependable, he was a man of his word. He was a longtime member of The Church at Quail Creek and also volunteered with the charity program at Citychurch. In death as in life he will not be alone. His loved ones stayed by his side as he took his last breath and left this world to join Christ in his eternal life. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Edna Jean Lane. They were married for 59 years until her death on June 23, 2001. He was also preceded in death by a special companion, June McDonald, in December 2006. Survivors include four sons, Jimmy Dayton Lane, Marvin Joel "Butch" Lane, Clayton Dale Lane and Donnie E. Lane; a daughter, Redonda Allen; a brother-in-law, Kenneth Robinson of Dickson, Calif; and two sisters-in law, Nell Lane and Dorothy Lane, both of Amarillo. He will also be missed by 20 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. on November 15, 2007.²
