Mike leaves to cherish his loving memory his beloved wife, Francine Hammond; his devoted daughters, Michelle Hammond of Houston, TX, Lisa Hammond of Tulsa, OK; his loving parents, Keith and Louise Hammound of Prosperity Oaks, Palm Beach Gardens; his devoted brothers and sister, Ivan Hammond of Bowling Green, OH, John Hammond of Willow Grove, PA, and Nancy Hammond, of Millville, NJ and Ted Hammond of Bozeman, MT. on February 4, 1999.2

He graduated from PHS in 1915 as valedictorian of his class. He was a WWI veteran of the U.S. Navy. He had been a Barber in Paoli and was employed as a Security Guard before his retirement. He had resided in Florida for several years. He was married in 1922 to Lois Radcliff, who died in 1928. In 1930, he married Fern Limberry who preceded him in death in 1951. Surviving are two sons, Walter Hammond of Orleans and Harold L. "Nicky" Hammond of Brea, Calif; a half sister Mrs. Ivy Lloyd of Hardinsburg, two half brothers, Kenneth Patton of Louisville and Lawrence Patton. Ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. on September 28, 1976.3
