Preceded in death by husband, William (Bill); parents, Sylvester and Amy Hanson; brother, David; sister, Mary Ellen (Crego); and nephew, Eric Crego. Survived by daughter, Christen (Jackie) Richardson; sons, Charles (Nena) Serios and Paul (Jessica) Bunting; sisters, Beverly (John) Schellin, Vickie (Stanley) Holden; brother, Steven Hanson; grandchildren, Jason, Sarah, Charlie; and granddogs, Samantha and Kia. Our mother worked at the University Libraries for eighteen years, where often she would teach students their new jobs. That was nothing new for her, she spent most of her life inspiring people to try new things, see new places, and expand their minds. She was a person that if you knew her, you would always remember her. She taught us the value and rewards of a hard day's work. She will live on in all of us forever. The memorial service will be announced at a later date. Memorials preferred to Hospice of the Lakes or Donor's Choice. Interment will be held privately at a later date at Fort Snelling cemetery. on February 9, 2003.1
