She was born June 30, 1962, in Glasgow, the daughter of Willie and Shirley Baxter. She grew up and received her schooling in Billings and, on Oct. 9, 1982, she was united in marriage to Ron Blood. They have lived in Billings since. Dee had numerous jobs over her lifetime, but her most rewarding was her title as mom. She loved to work around her house, in the yard and garden. In her kitchen, she has the following statement: "Live well, laugh often, love much." Dee was always there in the stands to cheer her children at games. She was proud of her children, grandchildren, foster children and enjoyed all of them, as well as her dogs. She was looking forward to more traveling. She is survived by her husband, Ron Blood of Billings, two sons, Stew Blood of Billings and Brandon (Jamie) Schmidt of Jacksonville, Fla; three grandchildren, Kailee, Blake and Logan; one stepdaughter, Stacey (Rick) Sievert of Carlton, Minn; three stepgrandchildren, Alec, Luke and Aidan; a foster daughter, Angic Barchenger of Billings; and two brothers, Edward (Nancy) Baxter of Billings and Dale (JoLee) Baxter of Kaysville, Utah. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Willie and Shirley Baxter. Dee will be remembered by so many; she touched and enriched so many lives in her brief lifetime. Though she is gone from us now, we all look forward to seeing her again someday. "Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with God's people who are in need." Romans l2:2,12-13. Visitation for Dee will be held noon to 5 p.m. at Dahl Funeral Chapel on Sunday, March 8, with the funeral service at 11 a.m. Monday, March 9, at the Lockwood Campus of Harvest Church. Interment will be in Mountview Cemetery. on March 6, 2009.6

Betty was born on July 7, 1945, Fairview to Isaac Clarence and Ruth Margaret (Baxter) Robins. She was the second of nine children. When she was 15 years old, the family moved to Troy, where she later met and married Charlie Davis in 1963, beginning a marriage that lasted more than 51 years. They had two children, Teri and Kelly. Betty loved to bowl and spent several years bowling on leagues in Troy. She liked to crochet and put jigsaw puzzles together and worked as a bartender in several bars in Troy and Libby. Her last job was working as a housekeeper at the Libby Care Center for 11 years until she retired. She enjoyed visiting with the care center residents as she cleaned their rooms. Her greatest joy was spending time with her three granddaughters. She loved kids and babies. She was always playfully teased about her famous name because of the song, "Betty Davis Eyes." Betty was preceded in death by her son Kelly Gene Davis, her parents, and brothers Larry and Dellas Robins. Survivors include her husband Charlie Davis of Troy; daughter Teri (Davis) Benefield of Libby; granddaughters Kelsi Benefield of Libby, Holly Benefield of Auburn, Wash., and Brianna Benefield of Libby; great granddaughter Lynn Bush of Libby; brothers Orville, Lester, Darvin and Dennis Robins; sisters Sally Gillette and Edna Neely; and several nieces and nephews. She was waiting for her second great-granddaughter, Emma Williams, who is due in November in Auburn, Wash. A public viewing will be held from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 12, 2014, at Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home in Libby. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. on September 9, 2014.3
