     Mariness Church Mrs. Mariness Church Triplett, age 88, of North Wilkesboro, widow of Jake Triplett died Friday, April 30, 2004 at her home. A graveside service will be held at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Triplett was born in Wilkes County, December 21, 1915, to P. O and Toy Ann Barnette Church. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Three brothers, Cecil Church, Wayne Church, and Hal Church precede Mrs. Triplett in death. Mrs. Triplett is survived by two daughters, Ann Triplett of the home and Donna & Eddie Gentry, Sr. of Clemmons; one son, Ronnie Triplett of Asheville; three sisters, Geneva Cothren and Grace Sebastian both of Wilkesboro, Helen Dukes of Greensboro; one step grandchild, Eddie Gentry, Jr.¹ She was buried at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery, 239 Champion Mount Pleasant Road, Wilkesboro, Wilkes Co., North Carolina.^1,2 Her married name was Triplett.¹ She married Jake Triplett.¹ Mariness Church was born on December 21, 1915 at Wilkes Co., North Carolina.^1,2 She died on April 30, 2004 at North Wilkesboro, Wilkes Co., North Carolina, at age 88.^1,2

     Jake Triplett was buried at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery, 239 Champion Mount Pleasant Road, Wilkesboro, Wilkes Co., North Carolina.² He married Mariness Church, daughter of Ped Oscar Church and Toy Ann Barnette.¹ Jake Triplett was born on October 7, 1916 at Wilkes Co., North Carolina.² He died on July 19, 1981 at North Wilkesboro, Wilkes Co., North Carolina, at age 64.²

     Shirley Wayne Church was buried at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery, 239 Champion Mount Pleasant Road, Wilkesboro, Wilkes Co., North Carolina.¹ He married Gladys Milam.² Shirley Wayne Church was born on October 16, 1917 at Wilkes Co., North Carolina.¹ He died on June 27, 1984 at North Carolina at age 66.¹

     David Lee Church Mr. David Lee Church, age 63, of North Wilkesboro, died Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Wilkes Regional Medical Center. He was born March 29, 1950 in Wilkes County to Shirley Wayne and Gladys Milam Church. Mr. Church was a member of Welcome Home Baptist Church and was retired from Lowe's Companies. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his wife Janie Minton Church of the home; son, Kristopher D. Church of the home; daughter, Katye Church of the home; granddaughter, Aryia Alexandria Church of the home; and two brothers, Henry Wayne Church and Harold Dean Shepherd both of Winston Salem. Funeral service will be held 2:00 o'clock Sunday, December 15, 2013 at Miller Funeral Chapel with Rev. Gene Shepherd officiating. Burial will follow in Mountlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Miller Funeral Service from 1:30 until 2:00 on Sunday, prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the donor's choice.. Miller Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.¹

     Homer Leo Dukes Jr. was buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Greensboro, Guilford Co., North Carolina.¹ He was born on September 10, 1919 at Branchville, Orangeburg Co., South Carolina.¹ He married Helen Church, daughter of Ped Oscar Church and Toy Ann Barnette, circa 1946.¹ Homer Leo Dukes Jr. died on May 3, 1994 at High Point, Guilford Co., North Carolina, at age 74.¹
