After the war Frank worked with Goodman Oil Company in Boise, McCall and Lewiston until he retired in 1975. Wherever he lived, Frank always loved hunting, fishing and exploring the rivers and mountains, especially in Idaho. In the 1960s and 1970s he took time to personally introduce a number of celebrities and government officials to the beauty of Hells Canyon and the lower Snake River. Frank was preceded in death by his parents Cary and Cordelia Tussing, his sister Helen Peterson, and his former wife Louise Lillard Tussing. Frank is survived by his daughter Frances Maza of Emmett, and his sons Frank Tussing of Las Vegas, Nev., and Larry Tussing of Newberg, Ore., and his long-time loving companion Arloine Howard of Boise. His cheerful smile, lovable personality and sharp intellect will be dearly missed by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and countless friends. on January 22, 2008.³

     Leonard Elbert Orcutt was buried at Saint Marys Cemetery, 4529 Howe Street, Oakland, Alameda Co., California.⁵ He was born on May 5, 1916 at Canyon Co., Idaho.^3,5 He married Esther Maude Crestetto on November 20, 1938 at Alameda Co., California.² Leonard Elbert Orcutt died on April 3, 1945 at Consolacion, Philippines, at age 28.^6,5 He On April 3, 1945, Orcutt and his crew took off in their B-25J Mitchell bomber from Palawan Field, Philippines. The pilot of another aircraft in the flight reported seeing Orcutt's plane stall out and crash about one mile northeast of the village of Consolacion in a swampy area. There were no survivors. In early 1947, personnel from the Army's Graves Registration Service recovered additional remains from the crash site and buried them as unknowns in Leyte, Philippines. Later that year, they were exhumed and transferred to Manila for possible identification. In 1949, a military review board declared these unknown group remains to be those of the aircrew and re-buried them at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Mo. Two years later, the Graves Registration Service returned to the crash site and recovered additional remains. The case was reanalyzed and a recommendation was made that the group remains at Jefferson Barracks be disinterred for individual identification. All remains from the crash site were examined with no resulting identification. They were reburied at the same location. A sister of one of the airmen contacted the Army in 2001 upon learning of the recovery of additional remains in the 1950s. The Army then disinterred the group remains at Jefferson Barracks in 2008 which were taken to the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command (JPAC) in Hawaii for identification. on June 22, 2011.⁶

Shasta, CA, she moved to Sacramento, attended Heald College and became a private secretary at Pacific Telephone. She met Bob in 1939 and they married in April, 1941. After a break to raise two daughters, she went to work for SCUSD as a school secretary. Family was the most important thing to Irma, and she is survived by daughters Shirley (Tom) Manning and Nora Gibson; grandchildren Paul Soos, Robin McGraw, Donna Gilchrist, Kym Soleng, Shelley Soos and 9 great-grandchildren; four sisters and her brother. She was pre-deceased by her husband (2005), granddaughter Gloria, a brother and a sister. She asked for no services, and her ashes will be joined with her husband's at a favorite location. on February 7, 2014.⁴
