Thomas Jefferson "Tom" Hogue Thomas J. Hogue, 77, a long time resident of Purdell and McClain county, died Monday at his home in Purcell. He had been in failing health for some time. He was a native of Pauls Valley but had live most of his life in this area. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in the Yoakum Memory Chapel, with Rev. George Payne officiating. Interment was in the Hillside Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Minnie, of the home; two brothers, Luthers, Antlers, Lester, Portersville, Calif; four sisters, Mrs. Ettie Spangler, Dibble; Mrs. Marve Smalley, Oklahoma City; Mrs. Annie Walker, Pocasset; and Mrs. Lector Ard, Weatherford, Texas. Pall bearers were; Joe Aday, Lawrence Mantooth, Earnest Julian, Knox Murrell, Chuck pritchett, and Ozie Weaver.2 He was buried at Hillside Cemetery, Purcell, McClain Co., Oklahoma.2 He was born on July 17, 1890 at Pauls Valley, Garvin Co., Oklahoma.2,3 He married Minnie T.
