Airy; two brothers, William Childress Jr. and Floyd (Shag) Childress, both of Roxboro; five sisters, Faye C. Coates, Margaret C. Stone, Marion C. Vaughn, Juanita C. Murray and Deborah C. Stoner, all of Roxboro; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, May 3, at the funeral home and at other times at the home. Pallbearers will be Richard Wilbourne, Garnett Wilbourne, Randy Briggs, Harry Thaxton, Tony Thaxton and Jason Terry. David Wright, Justin Wilbourne and Ted Wilbourne will be honorary pallbearers. on May 2, 2007.³

Murray of the home; a daughter, Michelle Pruitt and husband Greg of Roxboro; two stepsons, Donnie Murray and Brian Murray, both of Roxboro; four sisters, Faye Coates, Margaret Stone, Marion Vaughan and Deborah Stoner, all of Roxboro; two brothers, William Childress Jr. and Floyd Childress, both of Roxboro and four grandchildren, Cheyenne Pruitt, J.R. Pruitt, Cameron Murray and Chelsa Murray. Mrs. Murray was a member of Roxboro Bible Church. She was a homemaker. Memorials may be made to Roxboro Bible Church, P.O. Box 907, Roxboro, NC 27573.
