Burial will be in Henry Memorial Park. She was born on March 7, 1919, to John Luther Webb and Lena Moles Webb. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Norvell P. Smith; two sisters, Wavie W. Tew and Ruth W. Richardson; and two brothers, John L. Webb Jr. and Luther B. Stanley. She was a member of Meadows of Dan Baptist Church. She retired as owner and operator of Smith's Body Shop, which she and her husband owned. She also was retired from Bassett-Walker. She was a member of the Oak Level Ruritan Club and the Association of Virginia Ruritans. Surviving are a daughter, Norvelline Atkins of Bassett; a son, Don Tew of Sunset Beach, N.C; a brother, Sherman L. Webb of Rockford, Ill; one granddaughter; and one step-granddaughter. on June 27, 2011.1
