Smith; two sisters, Wavie W. Tew and Ruth W. Richardson; and two brothers, John L. Webb Jr. and Luther B. Stanley. She was a member of Meadows of Dan Baptist Church. She retired as owner and operator of Smith's Body Shop, which she and her husband owned. She also was retired from Bassett-Walker. She was a member of the Oak Level Ruritan Club and the Association of Virginia Ruritans. Surviving are a daughter, Norvelline Atkins of Bassett; a son, Don Tew of Sunset Beach, N.C; a brother, Sherman L. Webb of Rockford, Ill; one granddaughter; and one step-granddaughter. on June 27, 2011.¹
