     Edwin Lee "Cotton" Martin Sr. was buried at Birchlawn Burial Park, Pearisburg, Giles Co., Virginia.² He married Carolyn Unknown.^1,2 Edwin Lee "Cotton" Martin Sr. was born on November 14, 1945 at Giles Co., Virginia.^2,3 He died on October 20, 2003 at Pearisburg, Giles Co., Virginia, at age 57.² He MARTIN, Edwin Lee Sr., (Cotton), 57, of Pearisburg, died Monday, October 20, 2003, in Carilion Giles Memorial Hospital. Cotton was born on November 14, 1945, and was a son of the late Jerry Letcher Martin and Edna Dennis Martin. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Paul R. Martin. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and was employed by the Moog Corporation. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn B. (Tiny) Martin of Pearisburg; one son, Edwin L. Martin, Jr. of Pearisburg; one daughter, Shelly M. Johnson of Pembroke; one sister, Edna M. O'Brien of Pearisburg; two brothers, Jerry D. Martin of Pearisburg and Walter Martin of Pearisburg; two grandchildren, Skyler Martin and Haley Johnson. Graveside services will be conducted Thursday, October 23, 2003, at 11 a.m. in Birch-lawn Burial Park with the Rev. Rick Franco officiating. The family will receive friends at the Givens Funeral Home Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Providence United Methodist Church, Pearisburg, Virginia. on October 22, 2003.²

     Edwin Marceau Fitzgerald was born on December 22, 1915 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.^1,2,3,4 He married Irene Clara Hutson, daughter of William Daniel Hutson and Hassie Clara Terry, on October 14, 1936 at Roanoke, Virginia.¹ Edwin Marceau Fitzgerald died on January 26, 2007 at Bristol, Virginia, at age 91.^3,4
