He was the secretary of the Nampa Trade and Labor Council for the past 10 years, and was serving as president of the Amalgamated Meat Cutters and Butchers Workmen, Local No. 38, of North America. He was also a member of the Colfax Baptist Church in Kansas. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Eva Langrell, Bartlett, Ill; a sister, Mrs. Lola Mae Wiles, Chanute, Kan; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. O.
