Over the years the family worshipped with Church of Christ in North Houston, Kingwood, and Deerbrook; she was also a Girl Scout leader. On October 12, 2014 she passed from this life. She and her husband Jimmy, were married 53 years and during this time they founded their retirement business, Kings Gem Center, operating it for 40 years. She is survived by a daughter, Carol (Kenny) McGee; sons, Jimmy (Mary), Billy, David (Carolyn); grandchildren, Jason, Robert (Mandy), Tracy (Kenny) Elledge, Travis (Rose); great grandchildren, Ashlyn and Briana Elledge, Patrick and Lynsie King, Nathan and Levi King.
