He retired from Virginia Tech Dining Hall, where he loved his work. He was a very special person. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, March 16, 2001 at the Horne Funeral Chapel, Christiansburg, with interment to follow in Sunset Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening at the Horne Funeral Service, Christiansburg. on March 15, 2001.3
