     Charles Alvin Taylor Sr. Charles Alvin Taylor, February 5, 1943 - December 22, 2021. Charles Alvin Taylor, 78 of Wingina passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He was born February 5, 1943, the son of the late Jim Taylor and Zelma Mae Tyler Taylor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jim David Taylor and a granddaughter, Charlotte Lorraine Taylor. Charles is survived by his wife of 31 years, Georgia Ann Cunningham Taylor; his children, Charles Alvin Taylor, Jr. (Colleen) and Anita Taylor (Rob Klingler); sister, Eleanor McFadden; brother Michael Taylor (Michelle); his five grandchildren, Kimberly Taylor (Wayne Stark), Charles Joshua Taylor (Jami Hatfield), James Matthew Taylor (Kyra Pardue), Jonathan Taylor (Katie), and Courtney Klingler; his four great-grandchildren, Ryker, Colton, Lane, and Tatum; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members. Charles enjoyed bear hunting and spending time with his family. Born in Nelson County, she was a daughter of Emmitt Hamilton and Onie Tyler Hamilton. In addition to her parents, she is survived by four brothers, Larry Winston Hamilton and Roger Dale Hamilton of Madison Heights, Gregory Allen Hamilton of Lynchburg and Emmitt Dean Hamilton of Germany and four sisters, Mrs. Ronald Brumfield of Pembrook and Mrs. Earl Thomas, Sharon Hamilton and Della Mae Hamilton of Madison Heights. Graveside services will be conducted at Lynchburg Training School and Hospital Cemetery. on November 27, 1973.²
