     Shirley Faye Seabolt was buried at Jennings-Seabolt Cemetery, Elkview, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.² She Shirley Faye Shafer, 59, of Clendenin went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 13, 2010 at Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston following a long illness. Faye, a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, enjoyed cooking, flowers and gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents, Amos and Frances (Larch) Seabolt; and brothers, Lee, Roy, and Paul Seabolt. Faye is survived by her husband, Teddy Shafer; son, Roger Edward Harper and wife Roseanna of Clendenin; daughter, Angela Marie Harper and husband Ralph of Walton; brothers, Perry Seabolt of Dunbar, Gary Seabolt of Utah, and Billy Joe Seabolt of Kentucky; sister, Betty Gillenwater of Ripley; and grandchildren, Roger Jr., Nathan, Kimberly, and Christa. Her family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Suzanne Cole; the nurses at Hubbard Hospice House; and friends, Penny Shafer and Jane Taylor and families. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hubbard Hospice House, 1001 Kennawa Drive, Charleston, WV 25301. Her funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, December 17, 2010 at Matics Funeral Home in Clendenin with Pastor Danny Cunningham officiating. Faye will be buried at Jennings-Seabolt Cemetery in Elkview. Her family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.² Her married name was Shafer.¹ She married Calvin Teddy Shafer, son of Ray Edward Shafer and Mattie Faye Withrow.^1,2 Shirley Faye Seabolt was born on January 23, 1951.³ She died on December 13, 2010 at Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia, at age 59.^3,2
