     Ida Isabelle Honaker Ida I. Greene, 95, of Knightstown, died Wednesday, May 29, 2002, at her residence. Mrs. Greene was the daughter of Luther L. and Mary Margaret (Hall) Honaker, both deceased. She married Carl C. Greene; he preceded her in death in 1994. She was a homemaker and member of Cambridge City Church of the Nazarene. She was a past member of the Woman's Christian Temperance Union, Garden Club, and Priscella Club. She and her husband were active in home mission work in the Church of the Nazarene of the Indianapolis District. She had taught the adult Bible class at Cambridge City Church of the Nazarene for 40 years. She had received the Distinguished Service Award for service to her church, and she was also honored in September 2001 for her service and dedication. Survivors include one son, Dan Greene of Knightstown; seven daughters, Margaret Dalrymple of Milton, Marjorie Fewell of Franklin, Betty Freeburg of New Albany, Dottie Long of Louisville, Ky., Virginia Mercer of Seymour, Tenn., Rebekah Robbins of Cambridge City, and Naomi Huffman of Straughn; one brother, James L. Honaker of Knightstown; 40 grandchildren; 81 great-grandchildren; and 32 great-great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son and one daughter. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Cambridge City Church of the Nazarene, with the Rev. Russell Thayer officiating. Greene's Funeral Home in Knightstown is in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Cambridge City Church of the Nazarene.1 She was buried at Glen Cove Cemetery, Knightstown, Henry Co., Indiana.1 She was born on May 9, 1907 at Union, Monroe Co., West Virginia. She was a nurse's aide at Reid Memorial Hospital in Richmond for 27 years before her retirement in 1983. Margaret enjoyed spending time with her family, oil painting, bowling, ceramics and other arts and craft work. Survivors include four children, Richard "Dickey Dean" (Debbie) Dalrymple of Cambridge City, Jeffery S. Dalrymple of Milton, Jennifer Kay (Randy) Boyd of Richmond and Sharon A. (Wayne) Pollitt of Connersville; 11 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; six sisters, Dorothy Long of New Castle, Naomi Huffman of Straughn, Marjorie Fewell of Franklin, Rebekah Robbins of Cambridge City, Betty Freeberg of New Albany and Virginia Mercer of Seymore, Tenn; a brother, Daniel Greene; and several nieces and nephews. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Vernon Scott Dalrymple, whom she married Feb. 23, 1952, in Madison, Ind., and who passed away on June 6, 2000; a son, Thomas L. Greene on Aug. 27, 2003; a grandson, David Scott Boyd on Nov. 29, 1995; infant grandchildren, Carl Christopher and Penelope Rae Greene; a brother, John Greene; and a sister, Lora Farlow. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home in Dublin. Burial will follow in Zion's Lutheran Cemetery in Pershing. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and prior to the services on Thursday at the funeral home. on December 4, 2007.6

She preceded him in passing on April 6, 2011. He later married Barbara Joy (Peyton) Winks. She lovingly survives in Franklin. Ed is also survived by children, Pauletta Fewell of Franklin; Karen (Jay) Fulmer of Gosport and Sarah (Dennis) Parton of Franklin; step-children, Chris (Cathy) Winks of Seattle, Washington; Kenny Winks of Indianapolis; Debbie (Mike) Pitcher of Franklin; Becky (Rob) Sheets of Fowler and Cheryl (Mike) Miller of New Whiteland; grandchildren, Anna (Erik) Foster, Reid Fewell, Quinn (Nick) Casazza, Harrison Parton, Hamilton Parton; Mackenzie Parton and Deby Clark; eight great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren and many step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in passing by his parents, brother, Thomas Allen Fewell; son, James Fewell; grandson, Jed Moses Fulmer; and wife, Marjorie Fewell. He was a 1945 graduate of Centerville High School. Ed was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was employed by Public Service of Indiana in Franklin, retiring after thirty-three years. He was a longtime member of Bethel Primitive Baptist Church in Franklin. He served as an Elder for many years at various Primitive Baptist churches. He enjoyed woodworking, camping, building churches and eating lunch with the Romeo Club. Ed loved water skiing, which he enjoyed until the age of 72. He especially loved spending time with his family. Elder Jimmy Clemmer and Rev. Larry McAdams will conduct a service of celebration on Friday, January 24th, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Mercer circa 1957.3 Virginia Lee Greene died on February 9, 2011 at Knoxville, Knox Co., Tennessee, at age 73.3,6 She Virginia Lee Mercer, age 73, a resident of Seymour, TN, died Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville. Mrs. Mercer was born September 12, 1937 in Richmond, Indiana. She lived in Washington, Indiana and Florida before moving to Tennessee in 1996. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an avid doll collector, needlework enthusiast, and birdwatcher. Before her health declined she was active in church in the various communities where she lived and owned her own fashion stylist, color consulting, and cosmetics business called "Uniquely You." Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Columbus and Ida Mae Honaker Greene, by sisters; Margaret Dalrymple and Laura Farlow, and by a brother, Johnny Greene. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Alvin Mercer of Seymour, by daughters; Melody Jo Oesch and husband, Timothy Oesch MD of Oak Ridge, Andrea Grace Podgorski and husband, Jeffrey of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, by sons; Steven Mercer and wife Candace of Travelers Rest, SC and Barry Scott Mercer of Greenville, SC. She has 18 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters; Betty Freeberg of Louisville, KY, Marjorie Fewell and husband, Edward of Franklin, IN, Dorothy Long of New Castle, IN, Rebecca Robbins and husband, Wayne of Cambridge City, IN and Naomi Huffman and husband, Charles of Straughn, IN and by several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. The family will receive friends Monday, February 14, 2011 between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 pm at Sharp Funeral Home. The funeral will be held Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at 10:00 am in the chapel of Sharp Funeral Home with Pastor Dale Crank and a grandson, Timothy Sean Oesch officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Memorial Park. Sharp Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. on February 12, 2011.3

     Rev. James Luther Honaker was buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Reynoldsburg, Franklin Co., Ohio.4 He ZANESVILLE: Rev James L. Honaker, 93, of Zanesville, Ohio left this life on Sunday, October 7, 2012 at the Morrison House Hospice, Zanesville, OH. He was born July 21, 1919 in Union, West Virginia, the son of the late Luther L. and Mary Margret (Hall) Honaker. Rev Honaker, graduated in 1937 from Connerville High School in Indiana and from Olivet Nazarene University in 1947, he was a Pastor of the Church of the Nazarene for 44 years, in Lorain, Lakewood, New Lexington, South Zanesville, and Zanesville Northside, Ohio and Safford AZ. He was a high school teacher in New Lexington, Roseville, and Maysville. He worked for 14 years in the Charles Beardsley School System in Knightstown, Indiana. He was a member and Pastor Emeritus of the Northside Nazarene Church. He is survived by his sons, J. Michael (Connie), Jonathan (Susan), Nathaniel (Pam) and Marlan Honaker; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; several nieces; and nephews. Besides his parents; he was preceded in death by his wife Lora Wright Honaker in 2001, they were married on March 30, 1945; he was also preceded by his brother, Herman L. Honaker; sisters, Mary Leige, Ida Greene and Anna Gibson. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday October 10, 2012 at the Zanesville Northside Church of Nazarene with Dr. James Miller officiating.
Entombment: Forest Lawn Cemetery, Reynoldsburg, Ohio. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the William Thompson and Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Dr, White Cottage, Ohio and on Thursday from 10-11am at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Northside Church of Nazarene.4 He was born on July 21, 1919 at Union, Monroe Co., West Virginia.4 He married Lora Frances Wright on March 30, 1945.7,4 Rev. James Luther Honaker died on October 7, 2012 at Zanesville, Muskingum Co., Ohio, at age 93.4
