She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be missed very much. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Florence Crawford; one son, James Linford Myers; and one grandson, Brad Myers. She is survived by her loving husband of fifty-seven years, James Lewis Myers; her children and their spouses, Peggy and Clarence Marsden, Steven and Deborah Myers, Richard and Teresa Gail Myers, Gerald Lee, Sr. and Arlene Myers, Kaye and Rodney Sigmon; grandchildren, Larry Sink, Jr., Melissa Cervone, Billy Kidd, Jimmy Kidd, Renee and Blaine Compton, Melissa and Mark Jones, James, Jr. and Cinimon Myers, Crystal and David Hockenbery, Brandy and Donald Thompson, Jennifer Rigney, Sherry Myers and special friend, Roy Lynch, Amy Nicole Myers and special friend, Jeff Fain, Ashley Elizabeth Myers, Gerald Lee Jr. and Bonnie Myers, Jessica Myers and special friend, Gary Hall, Chris Fitzgerald, Heather Cook and special friend, Adam Cecil, and Mackenzie Sigmon; twelve great-grandchildren; brothers, Alfred Crawford and wife Betty, and Kenneth Crawford and wife Kathy. Surviving also are his wife, Mrs. Ann Sanders Myers; a son, Jimmie Myers Jr. of the home; three daughters, Miss Renee Myers, Miss Melissa Myers and Miss Crystal Myers of the home; three brothers, Steve, Richard and Gerald Myers of Glade Hill; two sisters, Mrs. Peggy Kidd of Orlando, Fla. and Miss Kaye Myers of Glade Hill. Burial in Iva City Cemetery. on January 12, 1975.⁴

     Deborah Kaye Spencer was buried at Sandy Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery, 1444 Bonbrook Mill Road, Rocky Mount, Franklin Co., Virginia.⁴ She Deborah Kaye Myers, age 65 of Rocky Mount passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 in Carilion Franklin Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Hodgesville Pentecostal Holiness Church and attended Woodlawn Baptist Church. Deborah was a people person and loved God and her family. She will be greatly missed by all. She was born on May 7, 1956, a daughter of the late Troy E. and Beulah Chitwood Spencer. She was also preceded in death by a son, Brad Myers; brothers, David Spencer, Roger “Choo-Choo” Spencer and Doug Spencer. Deborah is survived by her husband, Stephen Myers; daughter, Sherry Clark; sons, Taylor Myers and Bradley Myers; grandson, Hank Clark; special nieces, Rochelle Spencer and Rachel Spencer (Justen); great-nephew, Broly Eubank. She is also survived by her aunts and uncles, Naomi Bousman, Danny Chitwood (Sue), Billy Chitwood (Tracy), Sammy Chitwood (Pauline) and Sandra Faye Crews; brother-in-law, Gerald Myers (Arlene "Beenie"); sister-in-law, Kay Sigmon (Rodney); her life-long friend, Norma Leffue; special friend and caregiver, Cindy Wright; other family members and many friends.      Ernest Claiborne Deisher was buried at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery (also known as White Church Cemetery), 2357 Mount Pleasant Church Road, Fincastle, Botetourt Co., Virginia.² He was born on May 8, 1890 at Botetourt Co., Virginia.^1,2 He married Virgie May Crowder, daughter of George Allen Crowder and Ollie May Crawford, on October 8, 1913 at Botetourt Co., Virginia.¹ Ernest Claiborne Deisher died on December 7, 1956 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 66.²

     Emmett Odell Deisher Sr. was buried at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 5737 Airport Road NW, Roanoke, Virginia.⁵ He married Elizabeth Trout Boothe.⁴ Emmett Odell Deisher Sr. was born on October 12, 1914 at Virginia.^2,5 He died on February 15, 1988 at Botetourt Co., Virginia, at age 73.⁵

He is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Dreama and husband, Darius Fields of Roanoke, Nancy Callahan Martin of Roanoke; five sons and daughters-in-law, John and Karen Deisher of Bedford County, Charles and Betty Deisher of Eagle Rock, Phillip Deisher of Roanoke and Linda Deisher of Troutville, James E. and Pam Deisher of Salem, David and Patsy Deisher of Fieldale; one sister, Mary McDaniel of Roanoke; two sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Deisher and Frances Deisher, both of Roanoke; 15 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. The family wished to thank all the CNA's, nurses and staff at Virginia Veterans Care Center of Salem who were involved in the wonderful care given to their father and the kindness shown to the family. Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 7, 2001 at 11 a.m. at Rader Funeral Home, Daleville with the Rev. Roy D. Trout, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday, May 6, 2001 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Rader's Daleville. on May 6, 2001.⁴

Frances is survived by three sons and one daughter, Marion (Buddy) Deisher, Buford (Pete) Deisher, Phyllis Deisher, Hubert (Eddie) Deisher Jr. and wife, Teresa; one brother, Price W. Overstreet Jr. and wife, Leal; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and LOTS of thanks to her special friend, Nell DuVall. A Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2012, at Oakey's East Chapel, with Pastor Bret Layton and Pastor Jim Asbury officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Church Cemetery, Botetourt County. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. on March 2, 2012.²
