Fridley will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, October 18, at the home of Rick's sister, Mary McFarland. Her address is 315 S. Poca River Road, Apartment 1, Poca. Gatens-Harding Funeral Home, 147 Main St., Poca, is serving the Fridley family. on October 18, 2009.2

He was a lifelong resident of Kanawha County, a veteran of World War II, a member of Clendenin American Legion and a retired pipeline construction foreman. Surviving: daughter, Mrs. Wava Cover of Fort Lauderdale, Fla; sister, Mrs. Freda Hively of Clendenin; two grandchildren. Service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Knight-Young-Matics Funeral Home, Clendenin, with the Rev. Robert E. Elmore officiating. Burial will be in Statts Cemetery, Gabe Road, Clendenin. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. on February 24, 1985.5
