Gandee, on November 21, 1950 at South Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.^1,2 Lewis Shober Truslow died on December 31, 2011 at South Carolina at age 95.² He A memorial service honoring the life of Lewis Shober Truslow, 95, of Camden will be held at a later date. Born in Charleston, he was the son of the late William Henry and Hilda Shober Truslow. A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, Mr. Truslow was retired from Union Carbide. He was a member of Lyttleton Street United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Betty Jarvis Truslow; daughter, Amy T. Cantey (Joe) of Camden; sons, James F. Truslow of Camden and John J. Truslow of Steamboat Springs, Colo; four grandchildren; brother, Andy Truslow of Charleston; and sister, Helen Connor of Ala. Surviving: wife, Stella Jarvis; sister, Virginia Coon of Belle; half sister, Judy Harper of Belle. Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, at Witcher Memorial Gardens, Witcher Creek, Belle, with the Rev. Ron Burnsworth and the Rev. John Adkins officiating. Burial will be in the Old Witcher Cemetery. (he was apparently buried in Kanawha Memorial Gardens) There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family. She was a native of Walton, attended Morris Harvey College and was a graduate of Glenville State College. She taught in Roane County schools for many years, retiring in 1972.      Viola Frances Seeley was born on July 27, 1917 at Midland Co., Michigan.¹ As of December 23, 1933,her married name was Robinson.¹ She married Hubert Edgar "Fuzz" Robinson, son of Silas Porter Robinson and Ida Mae Dodd, on December 23, 1933.¹ Viola Frances Seeley died on December 30, 2010 at Shepherd, Isabella Co., Michigan, at age 93.¹ She Viola Frances Robinson, 93, of Shepherd passed away on Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010 at her home. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life for Viola will be held at the Black Creek Conservation Club on Saturday, Jan. 15 at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Owen White-Pigeon officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Animal Treatment Society (H.A.T.S.) Envelopes will be available at Clark Family Funeral Chapel and during the celebration at the Black Creek Conservation Club. Viola was born on July 27, 1917 in Midland County, the daughter of Amer and Mary Jane (Mullin) Seeley. She married Hubert "Fuzz" Robinson on Dec. 23, 1933, who preceded her in death in May of 1970. Viola worked as a custodian at CMU until she was 65 years old. She was a member of the Black Creek Conservation Club for many years and loved traveling, flower gardens, dogs and cats. Viola is survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews. Viola was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert; her parents; two stepsons; and eight brothers and sisters. on January 1, 2011.¹
