He is survived by his daughter, Nancy F. Holcomb and son-in-law, Timothy; grandchildren, Ashley Short, T. Scott Holcomb and wife, Anna Brooks; and Amanda Holcomb; five great grandchildren, Avery, Carson and Grayson Short, and Harper and Elizabeth Holcomb; sister-in-law, Golda Kanode. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 1 p.m. in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 5737 Airport Road, Roanoke, VA.
