She is survived by her daughters, Deborah (Paul) Adkins of Charleston, Connie Zimmerman of Elkview and Brenda (Rick) Thompson of Orlando, Fla; son, Raymond "Les" Lore, Jr. of South Point, Ohio; brothers, Frank, Jim and Ernie Hudson; sisters, Marsha Rife, Anna Morrison, Nancy Clark and Joyce Pauley; two grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, May 21, at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, with Pastor Tyler Long officiating. Burial will follow at Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston. on May 20, 2016.1

She had held down many jobs outside the home, including as a cook at Morris Memorial Nursing Home and at George C. Wymer Elementary School. She was a loving mother, daughter, wife, sister and grandmother and was a friend to all. She was a Christian and had attended, in most recent years, Laywell Church of Christ and Hurricane Church of Christ and Lighthouse Ministries in Hollywood. She is survived by daughters, Margaret McBrayer and her husband, Lewis, of Davisville, W.Va., Frances Barrett of Proctorville, Ohio; Blenda Conn and her ex-husband, Eugene, of Hollywood, Doris Pauley and her ex-husband, Charles, of Culloden, W.Va; daughter-in-law, Carol Pauley-Anderson of Charleston, W.Va; brother, Boyd R. Poff of St. Albans, W.Va; sisters, Isabelle Monk of South Charleston, W.Va., Thelma Humphreys of St. Albans; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Poff of St. Albans; 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and many stepgrandchildren; many special nieces, nephews and cousins; her very special friend, Jack Bottone of Hollywood; special nurse, Madge; and hospice caregivers, Norma and Twyla of Hollywood. Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 20, at Allen Funeral Home, Hurricane, with the Rev. Steven Kenney and Toney Stowers officiating. Burial will be in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans. Monk.7,2 Isabell Poff was born on January 20, 1923 at West Virginia.1,8 She died on September 9, 2011 at West Virginia at age 88.8,2 She Isabell Monk, 88, went home to be with the Lord on September 9, 2011, after a short illness. She was a lifelong resident of Charleston and was a member of the Charleston First Church of the Nazarene. Isabell was the daughter of the late Thomas Earl and Hilda Poff. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Memphis; daughter, Jean Martin; sisters, Louise Pauley, Irene Skaggs, Eva Pauley, and Macel Poff; and brother, Ronald "Pete" Poff. She will always be remembered as a loving and caring person who always put others' needs first. Her prayers were always welcomed and appreciated. Isabell is survived by her children and their spouses, Nancy and Jerry Nelson, Betty and Jerry Arnold of Charleston and Danny and Pauline Monk of Sissonville. She has nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her sister, Thelma Humphrey of St. Albans; and brother, Boyd Poff and his wife, Betty of St. Albans. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Randy Lanham officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Memorial Park. Friends may call at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, two hours prior to the service on Monday. on September 11, 2011.2
