     Lowell Hudson Devling L. Hudson Devling, 81, of Plattsburg, MO passed away Friday, September 6, 2013. He was born on July 5, 1932 to Robert and Gladys (Woods) Devling in North Kansas City, MO. He grew in Plattsburg where he graduated high school. Hudson then served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. On December 15, 1967 he was united in marriage to Jean R. Belk. After their marriage they lived in Plattsburg where they made their home. He was a member of the American Legion Post #97 in Plattsburg. Hudson was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter, Sydney Green and great-granddaughter, Kandyce Green. Hudson is survived by his wife, Jean of the home; daughters, Cathy (Doug) Jackson, Mickey Streeter, and Betty Sims (David); seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two brothers Robert (Lavada) Devling and Harold (Sharon) Devling; sister, Fran Broderick; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 9th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home in Gower with visitation one hour prior to the service.
