     Darrell Wayne Link Darrell Wayne Link, 49, of Roanoke passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronnie and Kitty Link; and a brother, Jim Link. Darrell was a graduate of Patrick Henry High School. He was an avid outddoorsman with a special love of hunting, fishing, camping, and driving the country roads of Floyd County. He was an accomplished entertainer and excellent grillmaster. He was the owner and operator of D.W. Link Landscaping and was a member of the Moose Lodge. Surviving are his fiancee' Kim Lawrence; beloved dog, Daisy May Link; second mother, Pat Heaton; and many uncles, aunts, cousins, neighbors, and friends too numerous to mention. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to American Heart Association or the Angels of Assisi. A celebration of Darrell's life will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, September 2, 2019 at Lamp Light Baptist Church 4307 Rock Garden Lane by the Rev. Jeff Gardner.3 He was born on April 7, 1970 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.2 He died on August 21, 2019 at Virginia at age 49.3
