Ike William Jarels Ike William Jarels age 75 of Ennice, North Carolina passed away Monday September 27, 2021 in the Twin County Regional Hospital. Ike was born in White Thorn, Virginia on November 8, 1945 to Ike and Millie Bishop Jarels. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers Roger Jarels and Wayne Jarels. He is survived by his wife Glenna Jarels of Ennice, North Carolina; daughters and sons-in-law Betty and Michael Barker of Hillsville, Virginia; Barbara and Greg Miller of Fincastle, Virginia; Lucretia Zena of Roanoke, Virginia; sons and daughter-in-law Timothy and Patty Coleman of Salem, Virginia; Lynwood Jarels of Hardy, Virginia; B.J. Jarels of Rocky Mount, Virginia; nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.2 He was born on November 8, 1945 at Christiansburg, Montgomery Co., Virginia.1,2 He married Glenna Mae Atkinson, daughter of Charles Morris "Charlie" Atkinson and Mary Elizabeth Vest, on October 31, 1968 at York, York Co., South Carolina.1 Ike William Jarels and Glenna Mae Atkinson were divorced on November 13, 1984 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.1,3 Ike William Jarels died on September 27, 2021 at Galax, Virginia, at age 75.2

Wheeling, daughter of Gus Everett Wheeling and Arietta Graham, circa 1964.1 Rossie Cleveland Anders Sr. died on April 7, 2013 at Virginia at age 79.2,1 He Rossie Cleveland Anders Sr., 79, of Salem, passed away Sunday April 7, 2013. He was born February 18, 1934, and was retired from Old Virginia Brick and Richfield Retirement Center. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Ruby Wheeling Anders; sons, Rossie C. Anders Jr. (Sandra), Wendell Scott Anders (Shannon), and Jeffery David Anders; grandchildren, Wendell Scott Anders Jr., Seth Wilson Anders, Makaela Kathleen Anders, Makenzie Dawn Anders, Isabella Ann Anders, and Cody Allen Anders; sister-in-law, Doris Anders; several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to thank the 9th floor and the 7th floor CCU of Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital and the staff of Centra Specialty Hospital, Lynchburg. Services will be at noon on Thursday, April 11, 2013, at Oakey's South Chapel on Brambleton Ave. Pastor Raymond Martin will officiate. Interment will follow in Rest Vale Cemetery, Floyd County.
