Mr. Delmo Eugene Lynch, 54, of Bud Tilley Road died early Monday morning, May 13, 2002, at Stokes-Reynolds Memorial Hospital in Danbury. He was born Oct. 18, 1947, in Patrick County, Va., to Millard Eugene and Opal Mills Lynch. Mr. Lynch was a self-employed diesel mechanic. Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth "Libby" Lynch of the home; special daughters, Kelsee Elizabeth and Alexandria "Ali" Lynch of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Joy L. and Michael A. Simpson of Pinnacle and Jenni E. and Neil E. Clement of White Plains; a son and daughter, Eric T. and Tanya B. Lynch of King; five grandchildren, Justin Pyrtle, Codie Clement, Jackson Simpson, Mackinley Simpson and Phoenix Lynch; his mother and stepfather, Opal L. and Harden Bowman of Stuart, Va; a sister and brother-in-law, Linda L. and Larry C. Chilton of Pilot Mountain; a brother, Ronnie Lynch of Pinnacle; most beloved brothers, Bill "Wild Bill" Jones and Harry W. Armstrong; and numerous nieces and nephews.      Elizabeth Kaye "Libby" Tickle Elizabeth Kaye Lynch born June 21, 1950, died September 5, 2020. Libby as she was known to everyone passed away peacefully at her home, Libby held many many degrees which she obtained at numerous institutions Surry Community College where she graduated Valedictorian, Gardner Webb University and Winston Salem State University where she graduated both with honors. She enjoyed a wonderful career as a social worker for Hospice. She was a great inspiration to so many that had the pleasure of knowing her, Libby was a one of a kind full of spunk and so much fight which she used until the end fighter her cancer. Her wit was contagious she made everyone laugh and smile, her love was boundless for those she cared for she would give her last dime to make them happy. Harden Bowman, age 89 of Stuart, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at the Golden Living Center in Mount Airy, North Carolina. He was born in Patrick County on November 15, 1921 to the late Bruce and Nora Pack Bowman. In addition to his parents, Mr. Bowman was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Ettie Nunn Bowman; a step-son, Delmo Lynch; and step-grandson, Noel Chilton; four brothers, Early, Hoover, Claude and Otis Bowman; and three sisters, Myrtle Bowman, Margaret Bowman and Effie Reavis. Mr. Bowman had served in the United States Army during World War II, and was a member of Korners Grove Primitive Baptist Church in Flat Rock.      Myra Collins Mrs. Myra Collins Mills, age 78 of Claudville, Virginia passed away at her home on April 9, 2021. She was born in Patrick County on July 1, 1942 to the late Walter Collins and Delphia Bowman Collins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Fletcher Mills; and six siblings, James Collins, Vance Collins, Edward Collins, Franklin Collins, Buddy Collins and Mozelle Harris.
