Anthony "Tony" Dunton On September 1, 2012, San Diego jail prisoner Anthony Dunton was shot to death at the UCSD Medical Center when he struggled with deputies and a medical technician. Dunton managed to slip out of his restraints when he was undergoing a CT scan at the hospital. Deputies used a Taser and batons, but Dunton reportedly swung his waist chain and charged at them, resulting in one of the deputies firing fatal shots.2 He was born on February 24, 1967 at Newark, Essex Co., New Jersey.1,3 He married Stormy Gale Raine, daughter of Johnnie Steven Raine and Edna Alice Craghead, on June 1, 1994 at Tazewell, Tazewell Co., Virginia.1 Anthony "Tony" Dunton died on September 1, 2012 at San Diego, San Diego Co., California, at age 45.2,3 He Anthony of Hollis and Portland was sadly taken from us on Sept. 1, 2012. Tony, as he liked to be called, was born on Feb. 24, 1967, in Newark, N.J., the son of Grace Cameron (deceased) and Maurice Dunton. Anthony was a professional painter. He and his brother, Charles Dunton, started Patriot Painting Co., which they ran for over 10 years. He is survived by his father and step-mother, Maurice and Stacy Dunton; his wife Stormy; his two sons, Anthony Jr. and Lucas Dunton, and a daughter Nicole Dunton. He also had two nieces who he loved as his own, Shaina and Jessica; and a great-niece, Gracie Marie, which completed his family. He will be sadly missed by his brothers, Charles and Maurice Jr., a sister Theresa; half-sister Michelle; two step-brothers, Robert and Jason, three step-sisters, Lisa, Denise and Marcy; his uncle Theron Gene of Alaska, two aunts, Rosemary and Bonnie; and many cousins. on September 13, 2012.3

Blair III, age 55 of Dublin, Virginia made the journey to Heaven on April 12, 2021. James is preceded in death by his grandparents James Blair, M.D. & Esther Blair and Houston & Ada Roseberry, niece Kelsey Jones and great aunts Nannie & Myra Roseberry. James is survived by his parents Jim & Nancy Blair, sister & brother-in-law Karen & Dean Jones, three nephews Ethan, Gage, and Rhen Jones, aunts Addie Hubble and Erma Young, uncle Samuel Roseberry, sons Cameron and Isaac, and numerous close cousins. Interment will follow in the Mountain View United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family would like to thank Medi-Health and Hospice for their support.4 He was born on June 14, 1965 at Radford, Virginia.2,3 He married Christi Suzanne Altizer, daughter of Bruce Evans Altizer and Sandra Sue Shiflett, on June 12, 1996 at Christiansburg, Montgomery Co., Virginia.1 James Currie Blair III and Christi Suzanne Altizer were divorced on October 3, 2008 at Pulaski Co., Virginia.5 James Currie Blair III died on April 12, 2021 at Virginia at age 55.3,4
