Dod; daughter, Cynthia Dod Morton and her husband, Dr. Anthony Morton, and their children Catherine and Alexander Morton, of Rockville, Md; his daughter, Sharon Dod Dickenson, and her husband, Roger Dickenson, and their children, Christopher and Mary Dickenson, of Roanoke; and his son, William Thomas Dod and his wife, Allison Dod, and their children, Daniel, Benjamin and Samuel Dod, of Durham, N.C.2 He was born circa 1932 at Roanoke, Virginia.1 He married Laverne Marie Slone, daughter of Elton Ambrose Slone and Blanche Laverna Cannaday, on December 26, 1953 at Roanoke, Virginia.1,3 Charles William Dod Jr. died on March 1, 2012 at Roanoke, Virginia.2
