Christopher was a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He graduated from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed hiking, listening to music and spending time with his family. He battled Glioblastoma (brain cancer) for 8 months. Dr. Haughn is survived by his wife of 14 years, Amelia; daughters, Mia and Carys; sons, Maxwell and Crosby; brother, Brian Haughn (Kimberly) of Columbus, OH; nieces and nephews; parents, Michael Haughn (Jan) of Columbus, OH, Joan Haughn (John Hepler) of Clearwater, FL; and in-laws, Mike and Pam Stevens for Doylestown, OH.
