He worked as an aircraft mechanic out of Michigan and had retired from the U.S. Navy. He is survived by his mother, Francis Gibson; daughters, Kim Miller and Stephanie Collins; son, Matthew Collins; sisters, Miriam and Hope; brothers, Michael, Gilbert, James and Thomas; and eight grandchildren.⁵ He was buried at Albert G.
