Peggy was born Dec. 11, 1935, in Modoc, W.Va., the daughter of the late Brainard and Ethel M. (Cecil) Woolwine. Peggy married James P. Vest on Jan. 3, 1955. She is survived by three children, Jerry K. Vest of Jimtown, Carol J. (Kennith) Hartwell of Flint, Mich., and Bonnie J. Markley of Mishawaka; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Sylvia Perkins and Kathleen Kettle, both of Flint, Mich; and a brother, Basil Woolwine. She was preceded in death by her husband; one son, James E. Vest; one granddaughter, Kimberly; and siblings Garfield Cecil, Paul Woolwine, Randolph Woolwine, BobbyWoolwine, Billy Woolwine and Dora Lucas. Burial to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. on January 10, 2013.²

He was a native of Ohio and was a truck driver. Survivors include his wife, Helen; two sons, Staff Sgt. Richard L. Furnish of Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., and Staff Sgt. Gregory D. Furnish of Patrick Air Force Base, Fla; two grandchildren; two sisters, Peggy Gray of Circleville and Margie Jacobs of Lancaster; two brothers, Bill Muncie of Columbus and Edward Muncie of West Jefferson. on May 22, 1986.²

She was born Aug. 5, 1975, in Goshen, Ind., to Jerry Lee Muncie and Bonnie J. Vest. She married Edward L. Runnion II on Oct. 31, 2000, in South Bend, Ind. He survives. Also surviving is her father, Jerry L. Muncie of South Bend; her mother, Bonnie J. Markley of Mishawaka; three brothers, Joshua James Markley of Elkhart, Timothy J. Markley of Flint, Mich., and Brett R. Markley of Jacksonville, Fla; one sister, Tracy M. Markley of Flint; maternal grandmother, Peggy Vest of Elkhart; and paternal grandmother, Lorna Muncie of Elkhart. Mrs. Runnion was a homemaker. She loved music, horseback riding, playing darts and playing pool. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. on January 31, 2005.²
