     Charles Richard Briley was buried at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Bluewell, Mercer Co., West Virginia.^3,5 His Social Security Number was 236-68-8992.⁶ He Charles Richard Briley, age 62, of 549 Union Street, Bluefield, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at his residence. Born November 27, 1944 in Bramwell, he was the son of the late Carl and Ellen G. Briley Harrison. He had been a lifelong resident of Mercer County. Over the years he had made many friends through his employment as a Bramwell police officer, coal miner and security officer. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard and served his country for 12 years. Survivors include: Wife: Angela Briley of the home; son: Christopher Briley and wife Tammy of Bluefield, Va; three daughters: Tina Hitt, Judy Murray and husband Mike of Ocala, Fla., Rebecca Copley and husband Patrick of Bluefield; seven grandchildren: Brandon Jones, Brittany Hitt, Cody and Kristin Nicky and Devon Briley, Christina Bircham, and Dakota Murray. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with Christopher Briley, Pat Copley, Brandon Jones, Cody Copley, Michael Whitacre, Kevin Byler, Aaron Whittaker, Richard Kinzer, and Greg Kinzer will serve as pallbearers. DJ Dunbar will serve as an honorary pallbearer. Nicky and Devon Briley will serve as junior pallbearers. The WV Honor Guard will conduct military graveside services.³ He married Angela J.
