Kay lived in this area for 32 years and was a faithful and active member of Manassas Church of Christ. She was a retired Deli Manager at Safeway and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a friend to all - never meeting a stranger. Kay was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Gene Heltsley. Survivors include her three children Margaret E. "Libby" Walling & her husband, Richard, Nancy Mylene Collins & her husband, Robert "Bob," Timothy Alan Heltsley & his wife, Leslie, one brother Douglas Ray Sanders, three sisters Ruth Ann Galate, Mary Lou "Pudgie" Gates, and Okey Sue Allen. Also surviving are fourteen grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Interment will follow at Quantico National Cemetery, Triangle. on January 31, 2011.²

     Angelus Gay Demont Angelus Gay "Gail" Sanders, 72 of Bowling Green, Virginia passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, January 4, 2015 in Mary Washington Hospital. Gail was born in Princeton, West Virginia, September 19, 1942 and attended Princeton High School. She was happily married to Douglas Sanders for 55 years. She was a military wife for 16 years, raising her children while Doug was away on assignment with the Navy over a year at a time. She was a member and Deacon at Calvary Baptist Church in Bowling Green. Gail was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star and active in the Red Hat Society. Survivors include her husband, Douglas Sanders; three children, Ron Sanders (Patty), Larry Sanders (Lori) and Sharon Loftin (Steve); a brother, Billy Demont; five grandchildren, Jami, Isac, Allison, Michael and Dawn (Jody); two great grandchildren, Sarah and Jacob and numerous nieces and nephews.      Bobby Gene Heltsley was buried at Quantico National Cemetery, 18424 Joplin Road (Route 619), Triangle, Prince William Co., Virginia.^3,4,5 He was born on February 28, 1935 at Semiway, McLean Co., Kentucky.^3,5,6 He married Margaret Kaye Sanders, daughter of Oke Homer Sanders and Margaret Irene Elmore, on June 21, 1959 at McComas, Mercer Co., West Virginia.^1,2,6 Bobby Gene Heltsley died on May 27, 2005 at Manassas, Virginia, at age 70.^3,5 He Bobby Gene Heltsley, age 70, of Manassas, died Friday, May 27, 2005, at Prince William Hospital, Manassas. Mr. Heltsley attended Manassas Church of Christ. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Survivors include his loving wife of 46 years, Margaret "Kaye" Heltsley; three children, Margaret E. "Libby" Walling of Remington, Nancy Mylene Barr of Manassas and Timothy Alan Heltsley of Dumfries; one sister, Anna Christine Wells of Kentucky and six grandchildren. Internment will follow at Quantico National Cemetery, Triangle with military honors. on May 28, 2005.⁴

     Edith Alena Wyatt Edith A. (Wyatt) Nelson, 77 of Dale City, VA passed away on December 25, 2014 at Sentara Hospital in Woodbridge, VA. She was born July 17, 1937 in Matoka, W. Virginia the daughter of Clayton and Ina M. (Elldredge) Wyatt. She was preceded in death by her sister, Jeannie Basham. She worked for 25 years at MaGruders Grocery Store in Annadale, VA and retired in 2003. Edith was a member of the Dale City Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband, Jerry A. Nelson; children, Michael Sanders of Stafford, VA, Linda Scruggs of Woodbridge, VA, David (Companion, Melissa) Sanders of Dale City, VA , Sandra Sanders of Stafford, VA and Richie (Jane) Sanders of Woodbridge, VA; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren; a sister, Donnie Dickerson of Kernersville, NC; a brother, Eddie (Patricia) Wyatt of North Carolina and a brother-in-law, Carmen Basham.³ She was born on July 17, 1937 at Matoaka, Mercer Co., West Virginia.^1,2,3 As of October 14, 1955,her married name was Sanders.¹ She married Buford Thomas Sanders, son of Oke Homer Sanders and Margaret Irene Elmore, on October 14, 1955 at Pearisburg, Giles Co., Virginia.^1,4,5 Edith Alena Wyatt died on December 25, 2014 at Woodbridge, Prince William Co., Virginia, at age 77.³
