     Falba Olivia Sanford was buried at Lakeside Cemetery, Eagle Lake, Colorado Co., Texas.^2,3 She was born on March 4, 1900 at Lomita, Lampasas Co., Texas.^3,2 She died on September 19, 1985 at Houston, Harris Co., Texas, at age 85.^2,3 She Miss Falba Olivia Sanford, age 85; passed away September 19 at the Buckner Manor Nursing Home in Houston. Funeral services were held September 21 at Lakeside Cemetery in Eagle Lake with the Rev. Melburn Sibley, pastor of First Baptist Church in Eagle Lake officiating. Miss Sanford was born March 4, 1900 in Lomita to Lawrence Norvell Sanford and Julia Swinney Sanford. She moved to Eagle Lake in 1958 and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Eagle Lake. Miss Sanford had been a Houston resident since 1967. Miss Sanford was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and two sisters. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Tyra Feik of Eagle Lake and Mrs. Melva Taylor of Ft. Worth; four brothers, Milton Sanford of Shrieveport[sic], La., Rodney Sanford of Killmichael, Mississippi, L. E. Sanford of Pasadena, and Kenneth Sanford of Kinder, La; many nieces and nephews. on September 26, 1985.²

     Tyra Sanford was buried at Lakeside Cemetery, Eagle Lake, Colorado Co., Texas.³ Her married name was Feik.² She married Adolph Feik.² Tyra Sanford was born on June 16, 1908. She died on January 15, 2001 at age 92.

     Ola F. Sanford was buried at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, Harris Co., Texas.² Her married name was Hintz. She married Raymond August Hintz. Ola F. Sanford was born on October 6, 1916.² She died on December 3, 1965 at age 49.²

     Adolph Feik was buried at Lakeside Cemetery, Eagle Lake, Colorado Co., Texas.¹ He married Tyra Sanford, daughter of Lawrence Norval/Norvell Sanford and Julia Swinney.² Adolph Feik was born on October 28, 1903.¹ He died on September 2, 1960 at age 56.¹

     Melva Octavia Sanford was buried at Benbrook Cemetery, 812 Mercedes Stree, Benbrook, Tarrant Co., Texas.¹ Her married name was Taylor.² She married Earl Taylor.² Melva Octavia Sanford was born on August 8, 1905.¹ As of June 11, 1927,her married name was Scarborough.¹ She married Only True Scarborough on June 11, 1927.¹ Melva Octavia Sanford died on March 11, 1995 at age 89.¹

     Only True Scarborough was buried at Benbrook Cemetery, 812 Mercedes Stree, Benbrook, Tarrant Co., Texas.¹ He was born on April 21, 1900.¹ He married Melva Octavia Sanford, daughter of Lawrence Norval/Norvell Sanford and Julia Swinney, on June 11, 1927.¹ Only True Scarborough died on November 23, 1975 at age 75.¹

     Dr. James Joseph Scarborough was buried at Pioneer Cemetery, 1000 4th Street, Graham, Young Co., Texas.² He Services for Dr. James Joseph Scarborough, 49, local physican, were held at First Baptist Church of which he was a member. He was a Sunday school teacher and a deacon. Dr. Scarborough was a veteran of the US Navy and the Marine Reserve. He was on the Board of Directors for Los Hermanos De La Frontera; a graduate of the University of Texas; Tierra Blanca Medical Society; Panhandle Plains Med. Society; Texas Med. Association; American Medical Association; American Academy of Family Practice. Survived by his wife; sons: Quinton Joseph Scarborough, Michael True Scarborough, David James Scarborough, Paul Douglas Scarborough, John Mark Scarborough; daughter: Susannah Ruth Scarborough; three grandchildren; mother: Mrs. Melva Taylor; step-father: Earl Taylor; brother: Jerry Scarborough; sisters: Julia Price; Joyce Raburn.¹ He was born on May 29, 1935.² He married Sandra Brown on December 23, 1954 at Austin, Travis Co., Texas.² Dr. James Joseph Scarborough died on April 10, 1985 at age 49.²
