     Robert Eugene Eddy was buried at Riverside Cemetery, Hopkinsville, Christian Co., Kentucky.4,3 He was born on August 29, 1930 at Mingo Junction, Jefferson Co., Ohio.3,6 He married Margaret A. "Peggy" Davis on March 7, 1952 at Jefferson Co., Ohio.2,3,4,7 Robert Eugene Eddy died on July 16, 1990 at Hopkinsville, Christian Co., Kentucky, at age 59.3,4,8 He Robert Eugene "Grumpy" Eddy, 59, of Consolation Loop, Crofton, died at 12:55 p.m. Monday at Jennie Stuart Medical Center following a short illness. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Maddux Funeral Home, Hopkinsville, with the Rev. Calvin Bryant officiating and burial, with full military rites, in Riverside Cemetery. A native of Mingo Junction, Ohio, he was born Aug. 29, 1930, son of the late Orville and Clara Arbaugh Eddy. A Baptist and a scales operator at Phelps Dodge Magnet Wire Co., he was retired from Army service, He was also a veteran of Vietnam and Korean wars. A foster son, Earl Murdock, died in 1989. Survivors include his wife, Margaret "Peggy" Davis Eddy; three sons, Robert Eddy Jr., Plano, Texas, James Eddy, Nashville, Tenn., and Michael Eddy, Crofton; two daughters, Margaret "Peggy" Cook, Crofton, and Debra Crunk, Hopkinsville; four brothers, Tom Eddy, Mingo Junction, Ohio, John Eddy, Milton, Fla., Charles Eddy, Birmingham, Ala., and Ben Eddy, Steubenville, Ohio; three sisters, Anna Mae Shuman, Ponce de Leon, Fla., Mary Alice Land, De Funiak Springs, Fla., and Grace Morris, Germano, Ohio; and 12 grandchildren. on July 17, 1990.3
