He always tried to help others when in need, the young and old alike. Joey loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting and playing baseball in his younger years. He loved 4-wheeling in the woods, driving his International Scouts. He also loved his dogs, Bull and Rusty. Joey graduated from George Washington High School and attended West Virginia State College. Over the years, he learned many trades. He worked for several companies, Pennington Builders, Akers Refrigeration Inc. and Capital Resource Agency and others. In his lifetime, he attended Davis Creek Church of God and visited other churches. He loved the Lord. He is survived by his parents, Daniel and Cheryl Henshaw; his beloved younger brother, Aaron; grandmother, Etta Campbell Hayes, 98 years young; paternal grandmother, Myrtle Henshaw; maternal grandmother, Esther Horvat; stepgrandfather, Franz Horvat; the true love of his life, Rachel Martin, and her beautiful son, Brody, who was his little buddy and whom he loved very much; and his wonderful ex-wife and best friend, Elizabeth Akers, whom he also loved and who helped him over the years, through many tough times. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins, whom he loved very much, and many friends and loved ones. Joey was a treasure and a blessing to so many. Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 10, at Good Shepherd Mortuary, 335 5th Ave., South Charleston, with the Rev. David Wall and Pastor Phil Dunn officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston. on October 9, 2010.4

He was the son of Daniel and Cheryl Henshaw, who loved Aaron more than words could ever say. He was a great blessing to them and brought them such joy growing up. Aaron was a dog lover and had four dogs which lived with him. He was preceded in death by his close and loving big brother, Joey, whom he shared many wonderful times together. He was a kind and loving child who always had tons of hugs and kisses for his family and all who knew him. Aaron was a US Army veteran. Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Good Shepherd Mortuary, South Charleston with Pastor David Walls officiating. He will be buried beside his precious brother, Joey, in Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston.2 He was born on October 26, 1982.4 He died on December 17, 2012 at Kanawha Co., West Virginia, at age 30.2,4
