She was a 24 year employee at CAMC General Division. Phyllis was also known as "Sunflower," a professional clown, and loved working with children. She enjoyed her pets and raised love birds. Phyllis was an avid crafter, knitting and making gifts for family and friends. She was a member of Point Lick Gospel Tabernacle. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gomer G. Cobb and Jewel M. Cobb; and grandmother, Mabel K. McCutcheon. Phyllis is survived by her husband, Larry Glassburn; daughter, Patty (Sonny) White of Campbells Creek; son, Kevin Neeley of Charleston; step-son, Eddie Glassburn of Campbells Creek; two grandsons, Wes and Levi of Campbells Creek; sister, Brenda (Morgan) Green of Florida; brother, Michael Cobb of Charleston; sister-in-law, Jackie Davidson of Arizona; and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her Church family and her CAMC family. The funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at Point Lick Gospel Tabernacle, Campbells Creek, with the Rev. Larry Campbell officiating.
