Smeltzer was born on February 17, 1943 at Shelocta, Indiana Co., Pennsylvania.1,2 She died on November 23, 2016 at Lancaster, Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania, at age 73.1,2 She Sylvia J. Petrus, 73, of New Providence passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2016, at Hamilton Arms Nursing Center in Lancaster. She was born in Shelocta, the daughter of Raymond D. and R. Leila (Blystone) Smeltzer. Her husband, Richard Petrus, passed away in 2004. In the past, Sylvia had worked at Jamesway and Klingensmith Drug Store in Western Pennsylvania. She was a member of Christ the King Community Church in Lancaster and the Polish Falcons of America. She enjoyed knitting, cooking, Hallmark Channel movies, and Pittsburgh sports teams. Her favorite cat was named "Chloe." Surviving is her son, Paul Glenn married to Laura E. Smeltzer; her stepchildren, Ruth Reinke (Daniel), and Carla Densmore (Brian); her siblings, Raymond (Bud) Smeltzer, Jr. (Cindy) and Bonnie L. Giran; and her sister-inlaw, Elizabeth Smeltzer. There are 11 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother Wesley C. Smeltzer. Family and friends are invited to funeral services on Friday, Dec. 2, 2016, at 10 a.m. from The Groff Family Funeral Service, 528 W. Orange St., (corner of Orange and Pine streets), Lancaster Pa. 17603. Viewings will be at the Groffs on Thursday, Dec. 1, 2016, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. and also prior to the funeral on Friday from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Burial will be in New Providence Mennonite Church Cemetery. on November 29, 2016.1

     Peggy Ann Waugaman Peggy Ann Cousins, 60, of Kittanning, died Monday, June 1, 2009, in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. She was born May 22, 1949, in Clarion County, a daughter of the late William and Sara (Shuey) Waugaman. She was a housewife and of the Protestant faith. She loved gambling, camping, scratch tickets and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include her husband of 42, Frank A. Cousins; a son, Frank A. Cousins Jr; daughters, Debra Smith, Shelly Greene and Catherine Cousins; eight grandchildren, Jamie Painter, Jeffrey Cole, Kalie Steele, Jessica Cousins, Jeanelle Cousins, Frank A. Cousins III, Megan Riddle and Richard Riddle III; a great-grandson, Colby Painter; brothers, Donald Waugaman and John Waugaman; a sister, Patricia Cousins; and nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, Kittanning, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Interment will be in Croyle Cemetery.2 She was born on May 22, 1949 at Clarion Co., Pennsylvania.2 As of December 11, 1967,her married name was Cousins.1 She married Frank Austin Cousins, son of Charles Leroy "Booth" Cousins and Goldie Alice Ion, on December 11, 1967.1,2 Peggy Ann Waugaman died on June 1, 2009 at Kittanning, Armstrong Co., Pennsylvania, at age 60.2
