     Frances L. Zamberlan Frances L. Cummiskey, 66, of 3 Burnside Ave., passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, October 20th, 2011, after a brief stay at The Pavilion at BRMC, she was surrounded by her loving family. Born January 18, 1945, in Lewis Run, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Florence (Barr) Zamberlan. On May 16, 1964 at Our Mother of Perpetual Help Church she married Gene P. Cummiskey who survives. Mrs. Cummiskey was a 1962 graduate of St. Bernard High School. She had worked for J.C. Penneys for ten years and then at KOA Speers for 22 years in sales and service. She loved to travel with her husband, time spent at the Casino, sitting around campfires with grandchildren, walking, shopping and spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church. In addition to her husband of 47 years she is survived by two daughters, Colleen Bryner and Jill Cummiskey both of Bradford, a son, James (LaRen) Cummiskey of Kailua Kona, Hawaii, seven sisters, Patricia Butler of Lewis Run, Helen Mott of Lackawanna NY, Pauline Turnham of Lewisville, TX, Joan Crooks of Youngsville, Marilyn Phivelic of McKeesport, Theresa Schrawder of Lewisburg, and Martha Drake of Strongsville, OH, four brothers, Ted Zamberlan of Lewis Run, John Zamberlan of Eugene, OR, Pete Zamberlan of Westline, and Jim Zamberlan of Houston, TX, four grandchildren; Evan Frisina, Erin Frisina, Blake Tyger and Drew Tyger and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister Edith Delaney. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, October 29, 2011, at 10:00am in St. Francis of Assisi Church with Rev. Steven Collins, pastor as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.      Her Social Security Number was 166-36-9865.² Joan E. Zamberlan Joan E. Crooks, 65, of 31 8th St., Youngsville, died Friday morning at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born March 1, 1946 in Bradford, one of 13 children born to the late Peter and Florence (Barr) Zamberlan. Joan had worked a Blair for a number of years and was most recently employed at the Rouse Warren Co. Home. She was a member of St. Luke’s Roman Catholic Church in Youngsville. Many will remember Joan for her willingness to help her family and friends whenever needed. Joan is survived by husband James Crooks Sr., whom she married November 14, 1964 in Bradford, 3 children; James Crooks Jr. and his fiancée Rosemary, of Warren, Joseph (Kerri) Crooks of Thomasville, NC., Jean Brown of Youngsville, 9 grandchildren, Dustin Crooks, Joey Crooks Jr., Colby Crooks, Kasey Crooks, Kayla Crooks, Logan Brown, Taylor Brown, Jacqueline Allen and Carlie, 2 great grandchildren; Makya Rayne and Phenox Allen, 6 sisters; Patricia (Clair) Butler, Lewis Run, PA., Helen Mott. N. Towanda, NY., Pauline (Rufus) Turham, Lewisville, TX. Marilyn (John) Pivelic, Port Vue, PA., Theresa Schrawder, Lewisburg, PA., Martha Drake, Strongsville, OH., 4 brothers; Theodore (Marge) Zamberlan, Lewis Run, PA., John (Debbie) Zamberlan, Portland, OR., Peter (Ruth) Zamberlan, Westline, PA., James Zamberlan, Huston TX., and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Jack Crooks, and 2 sisters Edith Delancey and Frances Cummiskey. Friends will be received on Tuesday at the Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 314 N. Main St., in Youngsville from 10 -11am, at which time a memorial service will be held there with the Rev. Fr. John Neff officiating.
