     William Scott King was buried at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 2880 North Franklin Street, Christiansburg, Montgomery Co., Virginia.3,6 He was born on November 28, 1958 at Roanoke, Virginia.2,3,4,6 He married Kimberly Clare Walker on July 22, 1978 at Roanoke, Virginia.2 William Scott King died on May 8, 2011 at Roanoke Co., Virginia, at age 52.3,5,6 He On Sunday, May 8, 2011, William Scott (Scottie) King, 52, waited for his mother, father and girls to be by his side before gently leaving this world. He struggled for 16 years after suffering a heart attack and a stroke. Scott was a true example of courage and bravery. He was preceded in death by his uncle, Madison R. Fitzgerald. Scott is survived by his father, Madison F. King "Mack," of Roanoke, Va; mother, Gayle W. Thornton and stepfather, Malcolm Thornton, of Christiansburg, Va; daughters, Ashley K. Looney and husband, Scott Looney, Stephane A. King "Sissy" and partner, Allison Reed, Katlyn C. King "Katie," Madison S. King "Maddy," and Martha G. King "Marle;" and his one and only grandson and namesake, William Scott Looney, all of whom are from Roanoke, Va. There are also numerous cousins and extended family. Scott was a graduate of Blacksburg High School, where he was a star athlete in football and basketball. He then attended college in Tallahassee, Fla., at Florida State University. Scott loved all sports and was an avid Boston Red Sox fan. He was always in attendance at any of his girls' sports activities and always their biggest fan. He had a heart of gold and cared for all that crossed his path. Scott was a wonderful son and father who loved his family with all his heart. He could light up a room with his smile and brighten any day with his warm hugs. Scott never told his five girls how to live, he instead showed them, always loving and accepting all of their different personalities. Dad will be greatly missed, fondly remembered and forever loved (you know). A Funeral Service will be held at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel at noon on Thursday, May 12, 2011, with the Rev. Red English officiating. Interment will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Christiansburg, Va., at 3 p.m. on Thursday. on May 11, 2011.3

     Marieda Zell Charles was buried at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Courthouse Road, Princeton, Mercer Co., West Virginia.2 She was born on July 10, 1938 at Madison, Boone Co., West Virginia.1 As of March 24, 1961,her married name was Craghead.1 She married Dennis Elton Craghead, son of Leonard Etlow Craghead and Hazel White, on March 24, 1961 at Boone Co., West Virginia.2,1 Marieda Zell Charles died on October 5, 2017 at Virginia at age 79.2 She CRAGHEAD, Marieda Zell, 79, of Midlothian, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 5, 2017. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Dennis; daughter, Christie Riles and her husband, Tim; grandsons, Todd Riles and Alec Riles; and a large circle of extended family and friends. She was born in Boone County, W.Va. and attended Glenville State College and Concord University. She taught school in Boone County and Mercer County, W.Va. and kindergarten at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. She has taught Sunday school most of her life and she was a Christian Education Director at First Church of God in Princeton, W.Va. She was also a past president of the Athens Woman's Club and an active member of Swift Creek Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until service time at 3 p.m. Sunday, October 8, at Swift Creek Baptist Church. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Monday, October 9, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, W.Va. on October 7, 2017.2
