The family received friends from 12 noon until 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013, at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill. Born in York County, Mr. Styles was the son of Jimmy Styles and Tammy Thrift Allen and husband, Ronnie of Rock Hill. He was of the Baptist faith and a pipe foreman in the construction trade. He was a loving and giving father. In addition to his parents, Mr. Styles is survived by his wife, Heather Lafferty Styles of Rock Hill; his sons, Daniel and Brandon Styles of Rock Hill; his brother, Daniel Styles of Clover; his sisters, Christie Allen, Jody Cherry and Rebecca Wylie, all of Rock Hill; and his grandmother, Irene Styles of Rock Hill. on September 19, 2013.1

Born Nov. 16, 1936, at Kimberly, she was the daughter of the late Mamie Hess and stepdaughter of the late Daniel Canterbury. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Jesse Arrington, on Sept. 29, 2003. Mrs. Arrington attended the First Baptist Church at Scarbro and worked in area department stores. She was a very giving and unselfish person, and an inspiration to all who knew her. Her favorite times were spent at the beach with her family. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Surviving: her son, Duane Arrington of Crab Orchard; daughters, Evona Miller and husband Tom of Fayetteville, and Teresa Gray and husband Teddy of Oak Hill; and grandchildren, Tommy Munoz, Lauren Munoz, and Colby Gray. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21, at the Dodd-Payne-Hess Funeral Home Chapel, Fayetteville, with Rev. Kenny Smith, associate pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley. The family will receive friends one hour before the funeral at the funeral home. on August 23, 2008.2
