He went on to get his vocational teching credentials where he taught others how to weld and fabricate pipe for the oil industry. He was a well-recognized employee at Oil Field Construction Company, as well as a member of the Local #460 (Later the Local #409) for most of his adult life. In later years he worked primarily out of the fabrication ship. After his retirement he went back to work at ARB and later went on to work from home for NAPTECH in Utah as a computer draftsman. His hobbies and interests included tomato gardening, genealogy, California and computer technology. on September 11, 2003.¹
