He was a loving husband and best friend of Debra Cecil White. They shared 45 years of marriage together. Born in Salem, Virginia, he was the son of Hazel Combs White and the late Charlie Carr White. He is a graduate of Glenvar High School. He was employed at Balkamp for 45 years and worked as a District Sales Manager. He enjoyed being with his wife, family, friends and grandchildren. He also enjoyed being outdoors, working in his yard and building things. He will be remembered for his ability to make light of every situation and everyone around him laugh. He is survived by his wife, Debbie White; his children, Stacie and Brant Abbitt, Kevin and Dolly White; his grandchildren, Ainsley and Lilly Abbitt, Juliana, Corbin and Ava White, Dalton Hodges and Cory Fitzgerald; his mother, Hazel White; his mother-in-law, Frances Cecil; brother, Dennis and his wife, Joan; sister, Ann Kirby and her husband, Ray; numerous nieces and a nephew. Mr. Rogstad, who was born in Wenatchee, died Monday. He attended school in Spirit Lake and then attended North Idaho College. Mr. Rogstad was a longtime area resident and businessman and served with the Army in the Korean War. He was active in the Spirit Lake community and served on the Spirit Lake City Council prior to moving to the Hayden area. Mr. Rogstad was a past member of the Coeur d'Alene Elks and had served as president of the Sportsman Club, and the Spirit Lake Lions Club, and was past Noble Grand of the Oddfellow Lodge. He was active as a Little League baseball coach and enjoyed sports, camping, hunting and fishing. Mr. Rogstad drew a one-time permit to hunt moose this last hunting season and was successful in filling his tag. He and his wife, Doryne, later divorced. He married his second wife, Edie. She preceded him in death. Survivors include three children, Kim and Tim Rogstad and Cindy Roth; three grandchildren; and his former wife, Doryne. He was born June 20, 1955, in Spirit Lake, Idaho, to Ken and Doryne Rogstad. Tim graduated from Coeur d’Alene High School. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, archery, baseball and his cat. Tim is survived by his mother, Doryne; his brother, Kim; nephews Casey Rogstad and Drew Roth; and one niece, Cortney Roth. He was proceeded in death by his father, Kenneth; sister, Cindy Roth; and grandparents Oscar and Marion Rogstad and Morris and Nellie Epperly. on June 22, 2020.²

     Cindy Cae Rogstad Cindy Cae Roth, 60. Cindy passed away at her home on February 24, 2017 after a long courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born January 26, 1957 in Spirit Lake, Idaho to Kenneth and Doryne Rogstad. She graduated from Coeur d’ Alene High School in 1975 and attended NIC. In 1978 she married Dirk Roth and they had two children Cortney and Drew. She worked at Idaho 1st bank and Bowen Construction before getting her real estate license. She worked for Coldwell Banker Schneidmiller Realty as a realtor for the past 37 years. Gary Schneidmiller was her mentor and close friend. Cindy was also the cruise director for Coldwell Banker. She raised money for the Kootenai Humane Society, local food banks and Toys for Tots. Cindy had an infectious smile and was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. She was our “pretty in pink” girl. Whether she was out riding her horse in blue jeans or dressed to the “nines” Cindy was gorgeous. She enjoyed walking her dogs, planting flowers, cooking, shopping and floating the river. Most of all she loved her children, family and friends. She is survived by her daughter Cortney, son Drew, mother Doryne, and brothers Kim and Tim. She was preceded in death by her father Kenneth, grandparents Oscar and Marion Rogstad, Morris and Nellie Epperly. Cindy was an amazing mother, daughter, sister and friend. While employed, Alma was a member of Altrusa International and the National Office Manager's Association (NOMA). She remains a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and the West Des Moines United Methodist Church. Alma married Otis Selindh in December 1956. Alma and Otie resided in West Des Moines. Alma was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Otie, step-daughter, Sandra Thomas-Johnson; son-in-law, Dale Thomas; and granddaughter, Tami Thomas. on February 18, 2018.³

He was also past president of the Hawkeye chapter of Telephone Pioneers of America. Martin, 81, of Fieldale passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Memorial Hospital in Martinsville. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by a son, William Raymond "Tex" Martin; two sisters and two brothers. She is survived by her husband, Ralph W. Martin; two sons, Thomas Dean Boyd (Susie) and Richard Martin (Teresa); one step-daughter, Patricia McDorman; two sisters, Mae Naff and Gay Thomas; one step-brother, Charlie Sigmon; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was a former security guard at Bassett-Walker and was a member of Hill Memorial Baptist Church. Surviving are his father and mother, Ralph W. Marin and Mabel Sigmon Martin of Fieldale; one daughter, Helen Maria Martin of Fieldale; one sister, Patricia McDorman of Virginia Beach; two brothers, Thomas Dean Boyd of Pleasant Grove and Richard Barry Martin of Fieldale, and paternal grandmother, Ethel M. Martin of Fieldale. A graveside funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Roselawn Burial Park by the Rev. Richard Harrison and David Deisher.
