She was born Dec. 8, 1923, in Clendenin, W.Va. Survivors include sons, Roger Jr. and wife, Glenda, of Bonita Springs, Fla., Ed and wife, Sharon, of Prospect Hill, N.C., and Paul and wife, Tami, of Lexington, N.C; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Donzel, and husband, Roger Sr. Mrs. Williams was a former employee of Kanawha Valley Bank, Charleston, W.Va., before moving to Astor, Fla., in 1972. She and her husband operated the concession and canoe livery at Alexander Springs from 1975 to 1985. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at Astor Cemetery, Astor, Fla. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. on October 12, 2007.⁴
