     Ida Isabelle Honaker Ida I. Greene, 95, of Knightstown, died Wednesday, May 29, 2002, at her residence. Mrs. Greene was the daughter of Luther L. and Mary Margaret (Hall) Honaker, both deceased. She married Carl C. Greene; he preceded her in death in 1994. She was a homemaker and member of Cambridge City Church of the Nazarene. She was a past member of the Woman's Christian Temperance Union, Garden Club, and Priscella Club. She and her husband were active in home mission work in the Church of the Nazarene of the Indianapolis District. She had taught the adult Bible class at Cambridge City Church of the Nazarene for 40 years. She had received the Distinguished Service Award for service to her church, and she was also honored in September 2001 for her service and dedication. Survivors include one son, Dan Greene of Knightstown; seven daughters, Margaret Dalrymple of Milton, Marjorie Fewell of Franklin, Betty Freeburg of New Albany, Dottie Long of Louisville, Ky., Virginia Mercer of Seymour, Tenn., Rebekah Robbins of Cambridge City, and Naomi Huffman of Straughn; one brother, James L. Honaker of Knightstown; 40 grandchildren; 81 great-grandchildren; and 32 great-great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son and one daughter. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Cambridge City Church of the Nazarene, with the Rev. Russell Thayer officiating. Greene's Funeral Home in Knightstown is in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Cambridge City Church of the Nazarene.1 She was buried at Glen Cove Cemetery, Knightstown, Henry Co., Indiana.1 She was born on May 9, 1907 at Union, Monroe Co., West Virginia. She was a nurse's aide at Reid Memorial Hospital in Richmond for 27 years before her retirement in 1983. Margaret enjoyed spending time with her family, oil painting, bowling, ceramics and other arts and craft work. Survivors include four children, Richard "Dickey Dean" (Debbie) Dalrymple of Cambridge City, Jeffery S. Dalrymple of Milton, Jennifer Kay (Randy) Boyd of Richmond and Sharon A. (Wayne) Pollitt of Connersville; 11 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; six sisters, Dorothy Long of New Castle, Naomi Huffman of Straughn, Marjorie Fewell of Franklin, Rebekah Robbins of Cambridge City, Betty Freeberg of New Albany and Virginia Mercer of Seymore, Tenn; a brother, Daniel Greene; and several nieces and nephews. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Vernon Scott Dalrymple, whom she married Feb. 23, 1952, in Madison, Ind., and who passed away on June 6, 2000; a son, Thomas L. Greene on Aug. 27, 2003; a grandson, David Scott Boyd on Nov. 29, 1995; infant grandchildren, Carl Christopher and Penelope Rae Greene; a brother, John Greene; and a sister, Lora Farlow. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home in Dublin. Burial will follow in Zion's Lutheran Cemetery in Pershing. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and prior to the services on Thursday at the funeral home. on December 4, 2007.6
