     Jenna Lee Shiflett was buried at Layland Cemetery, Layland, Fayette Co., West Virginia.^2,1 She Jenna Lee Shiflett McDaniel, 81, of Lexington, NC, formerly of Beckley, WV, received her heavenly angel wings, Wednesday, May 2, 2018. Born June 25, 1936, on Backus Mountain, Meadow Bridge, WV, to the late Lewis Lee and Bertha Louise Shiflett. Fondly known as Lee to everyone and affectionately known as boo boo to her great granddaughter, Emry, Lee was a member of Cross Roads Church in Lexington. She was retired from Beckley Newspaper in Beckley, WV. She loved the Lord, her family and her church. She enjoyed gardening, canning, camping and going out on the boat. She is preceded in death by her, husband, Howard Junior McDaniel in 1995, and brothers, Elmer, Kermit, Billy and Bobby Joe Shiflett. Those left to cherish her memory are; daughter, Debra Wiseman and husband Steven of Lexington, NC; sons, Howard “Buddy” McDaniel and wife Anita of Lexington, NC; Jerry McDaniel and wife Janice of Lexington, NC; Sisters, Ruth Goins and husband Sonny of Meadow Bridge, WV; Peggy Harrah and husband Dale of Meadow Bridge, WV; Susie Shuck and husband James of Danese, WV; grandchildren, Lisa and Bucky Moore, Eddie and Jennifer Bowling, Tracy Bowling, Stephanie Teague and Michael Louia , Crystal McDaniel, BJ and Jessica McDaniel, Heather and Westley Tysinger and Nick and Danielle McDaniel; 13 great grandchildren with 1 on the way and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Services will be 3:00 pm Sunday, May 6, at Chestnut Knob Baptist Church with Pastor Danny Sams officiating.
